Bechem United FC have officially appointed Mohammed Bashar Ogba as the club’s new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 football season.
The Hunters confirmed Ogba’s appointment in an official club statement issued on September 2, 2026, as they continue preparations for the new Ghanaian football campaign.
Although his appointment was formally announced later, Ogba began his duties on Saturday, August 29, before being officially introduced to supporters during the club’s Hunters’ Day Celebration on Sunday, August 30.
Ogba will be supported by Seth Osei Wire, who retains his role as assistant coach, while Kofi Dankwa has joined the technical team in a new assistant coaching capacity.
The trio will work alongside members of the existing technical setup as Bechem United prepare for the demands of the upcoming season.
The club believes the blend of the new appointments and the experience already within the technical team will provide a strong foundation as the Hunters pursue their objectives for the 2026/27 campaign.
In announcing the new technical structure, Bechem United stated:
“The Hunters’ Technical Team is set! Leading the charge is Mohammed Bashar Ogba, who will serve as Head Coach with Seth Osei Wire and Kofi Dankwa supporting him as Assistant Coaches.”
The club added its rallying message ahead of the new campaign: “Together, they lead! Together, we hunt!”
Ogba will now have the task of guiding Bechem United through what promises to be another competitive Ghanaian football season, with the Hunters hoping the reshaped technical team can deliver the results needed to achieve the club’s ambitions.
