Medeama Sporting Club goalkeeper Felix Kyei has expressed confidence in the team’s ability to compete strongly against TP Mazembe, insisting that the Ghanaian side possesses enough quality to challenge the Congolese giants.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Kyei noted that the TP Mazembe of today is different from the dominant side that established a formidable reputation in African football years ago.
“The TP Mazembe we knew years back is not the same we see now. We have enough quality to match them,” Kyei said.
The goalkeeper’s comments underline Medeama’s confidence ahead of the encounter, with the club determined to approach the game without fear and compete on equal terms.
Kyei believes Medeama’s quality, preparation and collective determination can give the team the platform to produce a strong performance against the experienced Congolese outfit.
Medeama are ready. The belief is strong. The challenge awaits.
