Hohoe United forward Francis Odoom has completed a permanent transfer to Heart of Lions ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The 24-year-old attacker joins the Kpando-based club as they continue to strengthen their squad in preparation for the new campaign.
Odoom joined Hohoe United from Dreams FC in July 2024 and featured regularly for the Volta-based side during the 2025/26 season. He made 21 league appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
Born on March 16, 2002, Odoom began his career at Dreams FC, where he made 12 Ghana Premier League appearances during the 2023/24 season. He also featured twice in the CAF Confederation Cup during his time with the club.
His move to Hohoe United provided him with valuable first-team experience, and he will now take the next step in his career with Heart of Lions.
The forward is capable of operating across the frontline and is expected to add greater depth and attacking options to the Lions' squad.
Heart of Lions are keen to improve on their mid-table finish in the 2025/26 season and have been active in the transfer market as they build a competitive squad for the upcoming campaign.
Odoom will now join his new teammates as the club intensifies its pre-season preparations, with the forward hoping to make an immediate impact and establish himself as an important figure in the Lions' attack.
His transfer is expected to be officially confirmed in the coming days.
