Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb have announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Fuzy Taylor on a season-long loan deal from Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC.
The 18-year-old midfielder, who has already gained valuable experience in Ghana’s top flight over the past two seasons, will initially join Dinamo Zagreb’s B team as he begins his European adventure.
“Fuzy Taylor is a new Dinamo player! Although only 18 years old, the talented Ghanaian midfielder has already played two seasons in senior football, and he arrived at Maksimir from the current champion of Ghana. Fuzy will initially join our B team, and we welcome him to the blue club,” Dinamo Zagreb announced on social media.
Taylor joined Medeama last season after previously featuring for Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League. He played an important role in Medeama’s successful campaign as the Tarkwa-based club secured the league title.
Speaking after completing the move, the versatile midfielder expressed his excitement about taking the next step in his career.
“I am excited to begin this new chapter with GNK Dinamo Zagreb. This is a huge opportunity for me to develop as a player and compete at a higher level.
“I would like to thank Medeama SC for believing in me and supporting my journey. I am looking forward to giving my best and making the fans proud,” Taylor said.
Taylor emerged as one of the most promising young talents in Ghanaian football last season, with his energetic performances, technical ability, creativity and influence in midfield attracting interest from clubs outside the country.
His move to Dinamo Zagreb provides him with an opportunity to develop in a competitive European environment and gain valuable experience at one of Croatia’s leading clubs, renowned for developing young talents.
The Ghanaian will now look to impress with Dinamo’s B team and continue his development as he targets a breakthrough into the club’s senior setup.
