Italian-Ghanaian attacking midfielder Thomas Bio has completed a move to Cypriot club Agiou Georgiou from Czech side Usti nad Orlici on a free transfer.
The 22-year-old completed the switch on September 8, bringing his spell with the Czech club to an end and beginning a new chapter in Cyprus.
Bio operates primarily as an attacking midfielder, a position that allows him to contribute in advanced areas and support the team’s forward line from behind the strikers.
His arrival strengthens Agiou Georgiou’s options in the attacking midfield department as the club continues to build its squad.
The move also represents another step in Bio’s developing career, having already experienced football in different countries. He now makes the transition from the Czech Republic to Cyprus while maintaining his Italian and Ghanaian connections.
Agiou Georgiou secured Bio’s services without paying a transfer fee following his departure from Usti nad Orlici. The length of his contract with the Cypriot club has not been disclosed.
Bio is now officially an Agiou Georgiou player and will be hoping to make an immediate impact as he begins his latest footballing adventure in Cyprus.
