Ghanaian winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has completed his move to Turkish Super Lig side Kasimpasa after signing a contract with the Istanbul-based club.
The 23-year-old officially joined Kasimpasa at a signing ceremony held at the club’s Kemerburgaz training complex, with CEO Ceyhun Kazanci overseeing the formalities.
Born in London to Ghanaian parents, Rak-Sakyi began his football journey in the Chelsea academy before switching to Crystal Palace in 2019 at the age of 16.
He quickly established himself as one of Palace’s most promising young players, enjoying an outstanding 2021/22 campaign with the club’s Under-23 side. Rak-Sakyi scored 18 goals in 25 appearances, earning the Under-23 Player of the Season award and finishing as a joint-top scorer in Premier League 2.
His impressive development was rewarded in August 2022 when he signed a five-year professional contract with Crystal Palace, keeping him at the club until 2027.
He was subsequently sent on loan to Charlton Athletic for the 2022/23 season, gaining valuable senior experience in League One.
Rak-Sakyi later moved to Championship side Sheffield United on loan for the 2024/25 campaign before joining Turkish club Çaykur Rizespor on a season-long loan in September 2025.
Now, the Ghanaian winger begins a new chapter with Kasimpasa as he looks to establish himself in Turkish football and make a strong impact with his new club.
Kasimpasa have welcomed Rak-Sakyi to their squad and wished him success as he prepares to represent the navy-and-white colours.
