Berekum Chelsea midfielder Jonah Attuquaye says the team is fully prepared for their Matchweek 3 encounter against newly promoted Port City FC on Sunday.
The Bibires have regained confidence following an impressive 3-1 victory over Dreams FC in Matchweek 2, bouncing back from a heavy defeat to Hearts of Oak on the opening weekend.
Attuquaye believes the team has enjoyed a productive week of preparation and is heading into Sunday’s fixture with confidence and determination.
“You were here from last week, I think from the very first day of the start of the league. You saw what happened here. And when we came back from Accra, you saw the preparation towards the Dreams game,” he told Berekum Chelsea media.
“And I think this week too, you are here. Today is Thursday. You saw what happened from Monday till now.
“So we are well prepared for that game. Camp is very good, very calm. We just go in there to fight for, at least, if not a point, three points.”
Berekum Chelsea will travel to the Nana Boamah Darko II Park to face Port City FC on Sunday, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00pm.
The Bibires will be hoping to build on their recent victory and secure another positive result as they continue their 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign.
