Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojsa Kapor says his side will continue to adapt their tactical approach according to the strengths and weaknesses of their opponents as they aim to maintain their perfect start to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Bibiani Gold Stars at DUN’s Park on Sunday, recording their second consecutive win of the campaign.
Kapor believes tactical flexibility will be essential throughout the season, insisting that Hearts will not depend on a single approach when facing different opponents.
“Every game is different, every approach is different depending on what we see in the opponents, the strengths and weaknesses,” he told the club’s media channels.
The Serbian tactician says the ability to make the necessary adjustments from one game to another will be crucial as Hearts seek to remain among the leading contenders in the Ghana Premier League.
Kapor has also been impressed with the unity and positive atmosphere within the squad, crediting the players’ team spirit for their strong start to the campaign.
“The spirit in the team is very good and high, and I’m sure it will continue to help us win matches,” Kapor added.
Hearts’ impressive start has come against the backdrop of uncertainty at the administrative level, following the resignation of Managing Director Julius Ben Emunah last week.
The development led to the formation of an interim management committee to oversee the affairs of the club.
Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has been appointed chairman of the committee, with Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom, Akwasi Agyemang, Vincent Sowah Odotei and Alhaji Yusif Abdullai also serving on the interim body.
On the pitch, however, Hearts have remained focused and have made a perfect start to their league campaign.
The Phobians will now look to extend their winning streak when they host Bechem United in their third league fixture.
The match will be played at the University of Ghana Stadium, with Kapor’s side targeting a third successive victory to strengthen their position at the top end of the Ghana Premier League table.
