Awuah Dramani: Berekum Chelsea Highly Motivated Ahead of Vision FC Clash
Berekum Chelsea midfielder Awuah Dramani says motivation is high within the squad as the Bibires prepare to return to action against Vision FC in their Ghana Premier League Matchweek Four encounter.
The Berekum-based side will be eager to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat to Port City FC in Matchweek Three when they welcome Vision FC to the Golden City Park on Sunday.
Despite the disappointment of their previous result, Dramani insists the team has moved on and remains focused on securing a positive outcome in front of their home supporters.
Speaking to Berekum Chelsea's media team, the midfielder acknowledged the disappointment of losing but stressed the importance of maintaining perspective in a lengthy league campaign.
"Motivation in camp is very high. Sometimes when you go and lose a match and you return to the new week, it makes you sad, but we have moved on. We have all motivated ourselves because the league is a marathon and not sprinting, so we have forgotten it," he said.
Dramani also emphasised the importance of home form in the pursuit of the Ghana Premier League title, revealing that the technical team has reminded the players of the need to maximise their home advantage.
"Ghana league, if you want to win it, is home games. If you are able to win all your home games, you are free to go, and the coach has spoken to us. For you to win the ultimate, it is the home games. We will not joke with our games at home," he added.
Berekum Chelsea will now look to translate their renewed motivation into a strong performance against Vision FC as they seek to return to winning ways and strengthen their position in the league standings.
The encounter is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 3:00 pm at the Golden City Park.
