Ghanaian-born forward Michael Ameyaw says he is ready to embrace a new challenge after completing a permanent transfer to Polish side Korona Kielce from Raków Częstochowa.
The 25-year-old has signed a contract with Korona until June 2029, with an option to extend the deal for a further year.
Ameyaw expressed his excitement after completing the move, insisting that he is determined to help the club achieve its ambitions.
“I’m delighted to have joined Korona. I’m here to fight for the highest goals,” Ameyaw said.
“I’m ready to take on this challenge and hope we can take the club to the highest level. I’m very excited and full of energy. I can’t wait for my first match in a Korona shirt.”
The forward joins Korona after spending time with Raków, where he made 68 appearances, scoring four goals and providing 12 assists.
Before moving to Raków, Ameyaw enjoyed a productive three-year spell at Piast Gliwice, making 95 appearances, scoring 15 goals and registering 10 assists.
Born in Łódź to a Ghanaian father and Polish mother, Ameyaw has represented Poland at senior international level.
He has earned two senior caps for the national team, making his debut against Portugal in October 2024 before featuring again against Croatia in the UEFA Nations League.
His move to Korona Kielce represents another important step in his career in Poland, where he has established himself as an experienced performer in the Ekstraklasa.
With a long-term contract now secured, Ameyaw will be hoping to make an immediate impact at Korona and play a key role in the club’s pursuit of its ambitions.
