Ghanaian midfielder Nana Boateng has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Cypriot club Krasava ENY, with the experienced defensive midfielder currently available as a free agent.
The 32-year-old became unattached on July 1, 2026, following his departure from Romanian side Petrolul, whom he joined on a free transfer in January.
A potential move to Cyprus would see Boateng begin a new chapter in his career after his relatively short spell in Romania.
Boateng has enjoyed an extensive career across Europe, North America and Asia, representing clubs such as CFR Cluj, KuPS, Colorado Rapids and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.
One of the most successful periods of his career came at CFR Cluj, where he helped the Romanian giants win the Romanian Liga I title in the 2021/22 season. He later moved to South Korea and was part of the Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors squad that won domestic league and cup honours during the 2024/25 campaign.
The midfielder also boasts significant experience from Norwegian football, having made 86 Eliteserien appearances and scored 16 goals. His career has further included appearances in major continental competitions, including the UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League and AFC Champions League.
Boateng began his senior career in Norway with Strømsgodset after developing at Manchester City's academy, having joined the English club from Ghanaian football organisation Right to Dream.
The experienced midfielder currently has a listed market value of approximately €450,000.
Krasava ENY are the club currently linked with Boateng, but the reported move remains at the rumour stage, with no agreement or completed transfer confirmed between the two parties.
