FC Samartex head coach Nana Agyemang says his side are ready to fight for maximum points when they travel to Dormaa to face Aduana FC in their first away fixture of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The Timber Giants made an impressive start to the campaign, recording a convincing 3-1 victory over Karela United in their opening league game.
Aduana FC, meanwhile, began their season with a goalless draw against Heart of Lions and will be eager to secure their first win when they welcome Samartex to the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
Despite the impressive opening-day victory, Nana Agyemang insists his players and technical team have quickly shifted their focus to the next challenge and are determined to maintain the same mentality against Aduana.
“Both the players and the coaches are as good as in the last game that was played. We have refocused on the next game against Aduana FC. The approach remains the same. We are travelling to Dormaa to fight for the points,” the coach told FC Samartex TV.
The Samartex coach will be hoping his team can replicate the intensity, discipline and attacking quality that helped them overcome Karela United as they face a tougher test on the road.
The encounter is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, with kick-off set for 3:00 pm at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
Samartex will be aiming to maintain their perfect start and return from Dormaa with maximum points, while Aduana will be determined to secure their first victory of the new campaign on home soil.
