FC Samartex head coach Nana Agyemang says his side will approach every Ghana Premier League fixture with the same ambition as they prepare for their first away game of the 2026/27 season against Aduana FC in Dormaa.
The Timber Giants made an impressive start to the campaign, securing a 3-1 victory over Karela United in their opening fixture.
They will now look to build on that result against an Aduana FC side that began the season with a goalless draw against Heart of Lions.
Despite playing away from home, Nana Agyemang insists his team’s approach will remain unchanged as they target another positive result.
The Samartex coach has also warned his players against complacency following their convincing opening-day victory, stressing the importance of maintaining focus throughout the campaign.
“Every game that we are playing this season, the mentality is the same. Whether home or away, we want to take the three points. We cannot be complacent, but we are going into games with that same mentality so that we can always get something out of our matches even if we don’t get a win,” the coach told FC Samartex TV.
Samartex will be hoping their strong start can translate into another positive performance when they travel to the Bono Region for their first away assignment of the season.
Aduana FC, meanwhile, will be eager to make home advantage count after being held to a 0-0 draw by Heart of Lions in their opening fixture.
The Dormaa-based side will be targeting their first victory of the campaign, while Samartex will be determined to maintain their momentum and return home with maximum points.
The Ghana Premier League encounter is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, with kick-off at 3:00 pm at Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
