Aduana FC head coach Samuel Boadu has assured supporters that the club will not disappoint them as they begin their quest for success in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
The new league campaign gets underway this weekend, with the Dormaa-based side facing a tough opening-day assignment against Heart of Lions in Kpando.
Despite the challenging fixture, Boadu is confident his team is ready for the demands of the new season after a productive pre-season campaign.
The former Hearts of Oak and Berekum Chelsea coach believes Aduana possess a good balance of youthful talent and experienced players, while their pre-season friendly matches have also helped the technical team identify and address areas that need improvement.
“We have a good team with individual quality, and when we blend that with the experience of the older players, I believe we are good to go. We played a series of friendly matches and have been able to identify our mistakes and areas where we need to improve.
“I will plead with the fans to continue supporting the team, and we will not disappoint them this season,” he told the club’s media.
Aduana FC are two-time Ghana Premier League champions, having won the title in their debut season after gaining promotion to the top flight before claiming the championship again in 2016.
However, the Dormaa-based club have been unable to reclaim the league crown in recent years and will be hoping their strengthened squad and renewed ambitions can help them mount a serious challenge this season.
Boadu’s side will begin that mission on the road when they travel to Kpando to face Heart of Lions in their opening fixture of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign.
