Speaking ahead of Ghana's crucial TotalEnergies CAF Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) clash against Mali, the experienced midfielder acknowledged the high expectations surrounding the Black Queens but insisted the squad remains focused despite external criticism.
"We see everything that they're asking for and talking about, but I don't think we're going to let it affect us that much. We hear them because we want to be the best," Cudjoe said.
The deputy captain also revealed that the team's ambitions extend beyond the ongoing tournament, with the Black Queens determined to qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup while competing for the biggest honours in African football.
"We want to go to the World Cup, that's my goal, and also definitely get to the final. It's a process. They should trust us," she added.
Cudjoe emphasized that representing Ghana comes with immense responsibility and pressure, but believes the squad possesses the experience, character, and determination needed to embrace the challenge.
