Asante Kotoko's technical team has decided not to offer a contract to former Nations FC midfielder Asante Boahen following an assessment period with the club last week.
Boahen trained with the Porcupine Warriors as the club evaluated his suitability ahead of the new season. However, after carefully reviewing his performances during the trial, the technical team opted against pursuing a deal.
The decision means the midfielder will not be joining the Ghana Premier League giants as they continue to strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign.
Kotoko remain active in the transfer market and are expected to continue assessing potential additions as they finalize preparations for the new season.
