Ghanaian sprinter Joseph Paul Amoah narrowly missed out on a podium finish after placing seventh in the men's 200m final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Scotstoun.
Amoah crossed the finish line in 20.47 seconds, competing against a strong field of elite sprinters in one of the Games' most anticipated track events.
Although he was unable to secure a medal, the Ghanaian star once again demonstrated his determination and resilience on the international stage, proudly representing Team Ghana in the final.
His appearance in the final remains another significant achievement for Ghana's athletics team as the country continues its campaign at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
